… a student of ELTE
You can register free of charge at the library. As a student, enrolment is valid for one semester. You should always have your library card with you when you visit the library.
… TEACHER OR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT
High school students who have reached the age of 14 and are under the age of 16 can register for free.
Teachers and high school students over the age of 16 can apply for a free visitor ticket or library card (HUF 1,000) valid for one calendar year or a day ticket (HUF 300).
… Hungarian or foreign citizen
You can apply for a free visitor ticket or a library card (HUF 2,000) valid for one calendar year or daily ticket (HUF 300).
For Hungarian citizens over 70 years of age, as well as employees of libraries, museum institutions and archives, exchange of the library card is free and valid for one calendar year.
