You can research in the research room. Every natural person may research regarding his/her research topic who adopt the research rules and the ordered documents are not subject to regulation. Our collegues and the reserch service manager can provide information the way of reserach.

Archives information, records request and records release are available during the opening hours of the Research Service: Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday 9.00 - 16.00, Friday 9.00 - 14.00

Opening hours of the research room: Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday 9.00 - 19.30. The research room is open from Monday to Thursday from 16.00 to 19.30 and on Fridays from 14.00 to 19.30, only for the study of previously requested documents, no request or release of documents is possible.

Documents can be requested in person or electronically by emailing info@leveltar.elte.hu. Researchers may submit two application forms at the same time. The maximum amount of archival material that may be issued per request form is four boxes or ten volumes or, if requested per index, ten indexes. The archives shall make the requested material available to the researcher on the third working day following the submission of the request.

Digital copies of the archival documents searched for may be ordered, subject to legal and conservation provisions. The fees for copying are the same as the fees for reprography of the library's special collection documents, which are set out in Appendix 4 of the Rules of Organisation and Operation of the Eötvös Loránd University Library and Archives.

Our archives have their own specialised library. The volumes are for on-site use only and cannot be borrowed.
