Our series entitled „Mosaics from the heritage of ELTE” presents some of the key material cultural heritage of the Eötvös Loránd University. The object of the month is the tuning fork of Dr. Gusztáv Bárczi, physician and teacher.

Nearly half of the numismatic material kept in the University Library and Archives - University History Collection are commemorative medals and plaques that our institution received as gifts from partner universities. The plaque made for the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Comenius University in Bratislava, chosen as the artifact of the month, was presented to ELTE for the 375th anniversary of the founding of the Eötvös Loránd University.

Between July 17 and 20, 2023, three staff members of the ELTE University Library and Archives participated in a study trip at Humboldt University in Berlin as part of the Erasmus+ scholarship program.
