In the K21 Quality Management Coordination Committee’s third-quarter report for 2026, the working group leaders provided an overview of the results from the past quarter, as well as ongoing work and changes.
The K21 Quality Management Coordination Committee organized a training session to raise awareness of quality issues, which took place successfully on 16 July 2026, amid great interest. The next session is scheduled for 29 October 2026. With the cooperation of the quality coordination working group, the member libraries’ self-assessment has been completed, and the data has been recorded on the National Library of Hungary’s self-assessment platform.
The processing of data from ELTE’s staff service survey and student needs and satisfaction survey, as well as the preparation of the organizational culture survey report, is currently underway. Descriptions of key processes have been completed, the task catalog has been compiled, and its approval is expected by the end of October. Detailed analyses of the green library questionnaires and the preparation of the summary report are currently underway.
The Communications Working Group provided information about the tasks carried out and the results achieved by the working groups through the website, the ELTE University Library Service’s newsletter, and the Kolibri mailing list’s short film titled “3 Months – 3 Minutes,” and contributed to the successful preparation and administration of the K21 reporting days meetings. They also contributed to the publication of additional EKSZ news on the ELTE Libraries website, including the ELTE University Library Service’s honorees, a welcome message and service guide for freshers (also posted on the Neptun platform), support for students with special needs, and training sessions aimed at fostering a quality management mindset – all of which were also featured in the ELTE University Library Service’s newsletter.
Members of the Library Directors’ Working Group held a meeting in the third quarter to discuss IT changes, the review of assimilation documents, and the current steps in the organizational self-assessment (finalising faculty evaluations and uploading them to the National Library of Hungary’s platform).
An update on the achievements of the K21 Quality Coordination Committee and our new developments will be posted on our website soon.
